Call recording is an important, and often necessary, method of documentation for many businesses. Unfortunately, it generally costs extra on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone services. However, Internet Telephony (News - Alert) Provider (ITP) VoIP’s call recording option, initiated by simply clicking a button, is a simple and free way of eliminating the hassle of taking notes.

ITP VoIP, a provider of quality Internet phone services for homes and businesses, recently released a new slate of complimentary features included in all of its low-cost phone plans. The no-cost extras will now include items such as three-way calling, caller ID and call forwarding.

The call recording tool is useful for accountability in situations where liability is called into question. ITP VoIP’s inclusion of call recording within the regular Internet phone service it provides will enable businesses to track and archive calls while keeping costs down. In addition to the call recording feature, wake up calls, advanced outbound call blocking, advanced call forwarding, voicemail to e-mail/text and advanced DND features all come free with every plan ITP VoIP offers.

Call forwarding caters to residential and business phone users alike. The advanced option is an extension of the company’s call forwarding feature, which allows users to forward calls automatically based on a specific time of day, when the line is busy or when the Internet connection is weak. This is especially helpful when a user’s schedule requires them to change locations or accommodate outside meeting schedules.

ITP VoIP offers services including virtual fax, fax line, international virtual number, VoIP app plan, global cell, virtual calling code, virtual number, toll-free number and softphones.

Because the VoIP provider only requires that customers sign a monthly contract, consumers are not tied to a plan for more than one month, enabling them to change their business or home phone service plans at any time. Normally, the company’s basic phone service plan starts just under $10 per month. However, for a limited time, the company is providing the plan with the inclusion of two months free when a customer commits to a year of service.
