snom technology AG (News - Alert), which produces a stylish lineup of high performance desktop VoIP phones, has certified certain desktop models, its snom M9 cordless handset, snom Meeting Point conference phone and snom PA1 public announcement system for the Kerio Operator solution.
“We worked closely with snom to test their endpoints with Kerio Operator, and the validation process went smoothly. VARs will appreciate the seamless auto provisioning of these devices with Kerio Operator, whether building a phone system from the ground up or simply adding to an existing network,” said James Gudeli, vice president of business development at Kerio Technologies Inc.
This interoperability with Kerio Operator, an IP PBX (News - Alert) phone system from Kerio Technologies, will auto provision snom VoIP endpoints, enabling quick and easy installation, noted company officials.
“snom is committed to interoperability with a large number of SIP-based platforms and is pleased to have successfully completed the testing process with Kerio Operator·s premises-based and software solutions,” said Dr. Michael Knieling (News - Alert), chief operating officer at snom technologies AG.
Based on SIP VoIP protocol, Kerio Operator is a perfect fit, especially for small and medium-size businesses. It helps improve voice communication, controls telephony costs, allows users to stay connected anywhere, is secure, flexible, compatible with any snom IP phone and can be deployed within minutes.
The benefits of combining snom endpoints with Kerio Operator are many. Small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) will have access to a complete, end-to-end voice solution, value-added resellers will experience quicker deployment and Kerio customers can access the full range of snom endpoint phones.
snom, Kerio and Megapath partnered in a joint webinar on Nov. 15, 2012 titled, “Kerio Operator - From Install to First Call.” Attendees got a chance to learn about the Kerio Operator IP PBX, snom endpoint portfolio and Megapath SIP trunk service, and witnessed the configuration of all three products in just 20 minutes.
